JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced Tuesday that they’ve awarded three loans totaling $46.5 million for infrastructure improvements in North Dakota.
The grant announcement was part of a $5.18 billion rural infrastructure announcement by the USDA. Loan recipients include:
-$23,000,000 to Northern Plains Electric Cooperative,
-$22,300,000 to Dakota Valley Electric Cooperative Inc.
-$1,235,000 to the City of Drayton.
The loaned funds will be used to build and improve critical rural infrastructure.
