JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – For 30 years, the Heritage Centre has been providing assisted living care in Jamestown.

The non-profit is managed under contract with, and located on the campus of, SMP Health – Ave Maria, a 100-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility.

Heritage Centre Director Missy Harrison says celebrating 30 years in the community is a big benchmark for them.

Harrison added that working with the staff and facility of SMP Health – Ave Maria, it truly feels like a family.

With 58 rooms of different sizes and layouts, Development Director Annie Hancock says they’ve also introduced physical therapy as one of their services.

Hancock says they’ve also introduced new pet policies to allow animals to live with residents.

Along with the longevity of the Heritage Centre, Ave Maria CEO Tonie Stoen says recently being voted Best of the Best Assisted Living Facility in Jamestown is a testament to what they’re doing and continue to do.

Stoen says sharing the campus with the Heritage Centre has been wonderful for both organizations for the past 30 years.
