VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A 39-year-old Dazey, N.D. man faces several charges following a domestic violence incident in Valley City on Friday, December 3rd.

Police Chief Phil Hatcher said subsequent to that open investigation, the suspect, Jeremy Wade Hatcher was arrested for Simple Assault (Domestic Violence). He said looking further into the initial arrest, it was determined that Hatcher allegedly committed other assaults and a report about those incidents was given to the Barnes County State’s Attorney. He said this report led to more charges of Simple Assault (Domestic Violence) that occurred back in November. He said during the arrest, police officers also found methamphetamine.

Hatcher is facing three felony charges including one count of Aggravated Assault (Domestic Violence) and one count of Terrorizing (Domestic Violence). And one count of Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, all are Class C Felonies. In total Hatcher faces three felony and three misdemeanor charges.
