BISMARCK, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown girls basketball team opened up the WDA season on Tuesday night with a 61-43 victory over Bismarck St. Mary’s on the road.

Hunter Petersen – 11 pts, 5 rebounds

Katie Falk – 8 pts, 8 rebounds

Ella Falk/Rylee Joseph/Katie Trumbauer – 7 pts

Jamestown improves to 2-0 on the year and 1-0 in the conference to start the season. The Blue Jay girls will travel back to Bismarck on Friday night when they face Bismarck High at 6 pm. The Demons are 1-0 on the year following their 61-54 win over Mandan on Tuesday.
