JAMESTOWN, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown High School boy’s basketball team kicked off the WDA season on Tuesday night inside of Jerry Meyer Arena with a 76-67 victory over the visiting Bismarck St. Mary’s Saints.
Jamestown had control of the game for a majority of the first half before a late push by the Saints put the game at 39-37 in favor of the Blue Jays going into the break. In the second half, Jamestown never relinquished the lead and the young Blue Jays were able to take down a senior experienced Saints side. Jamestown finished 13-21 at the free throw line and was led by Adam Kallenbach who finished with 16 points and eight rebounds.

The Blue Jays improve to 2-0 on the year and open up the WDA season with a victory. Jamestown will be back in action on Friday night when they hit the road to take on Bismarck High. It will be a boys/girls doubleheader against the Demons.
