JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corporation (JSDC) CEO Connie Ova has announced her resignation date in 2022.
“It has been a privilege, honor and pleasure serving as CEO of the Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corporation for the past 19 years,” Ova stated in a letter to the JSDC Board of Directors. “Working in partnership with the JSDC Board of Directors, City and County, we have achieved major accomplishments. I believe this community is in an excellent position for continued growth and success in the years to come.”
Ova’s last day as CEO will be May 13th, 2022. She says she will be offer and transfer responsibility where appropriate and train a replacement for her position. She added she’s willing to continue in a part-time capacity or independent contractor to help manage special projects including Bison World and ADM if the board chooses.
“It’s been a great experience,” Ova told NewsDakota. “I’m glad to have known all the wonderful board members through the years.”
In her tenure, Ova has overseen the establishment of the Spiritwood Energy Park, Jamestown Aviation Park, Bloom Business Park, and multiple projects including the Dakota Spirit biorefinery and more.
In her closing remarks of the letter to the board, Ova thanked them for allowing her to grow and develop her career.
