JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Weather conditions have not been favorable for ice formation in North Dakota.
Outdoor enthusiasts are reminded to be aware of early ice conditions before traveling onto and across North Dakota waters. Game & Fish Wildlife Biologist Doug Leier says the past week of warmer temperatures have only slowed the process.
Leier encourages patience for colder temperature to establish better ice for anglers this year.
While the wait continues, Leier says there’s an abundance of late-season hunting opportunities in North Dakota.
