KANSAS CITY, MO. (NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown men’s basketball team moved up nine spots in the latest NAIA Coaches Poll on Wednesday and now holds the #10 ranking in the country.

The Jimmies are 6-0 overall on the season and return to Harold Newman Arena on Wednesday night at 8 pm to open up GPAC play against Dakota Wesleyan. Jamestown comes in following a three-game road trip where they remained unbeaten and defeated Vanguard University, which was receiving votes in the preseason poll. UJ also took down Valley City State 81-64 on Friday night behind 29 points and 17 rebounds from Mason Walters.
