St. Paul. MN (NewsDakota.com) – Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz on Wednesday signed executive order 21-33 provides emergency relief from regulations to motor carriers and
drivers transporting livestock feed in Minnesota.

This order actually extends  previous orders from Gov. Walz that he issued on July 1st and October 4th.  The new order was signed on November 3rd and goes into effect today (Nov. 4th).  Gov. Walz says that “over 35 percent of the state remains in severe or extreme drought. The farming and agricultural communities in Minnesota
continue to be profoundly impacted by the ongoing drought conditions”.

The latest hours of service rule extension will now be in place until December 4th.
