BISMARCK, N.D. (Prairie Public Radio) – North Dakota’s Department of Transportation is launching a “Name the Snowplow” contest.
Travis David is a DOT snowplow operator in the Bismarck district. He says people can submit the names by e-mail at dot.nd.gov. David says the names should be “appropriate” – and should have 15 characters or less.
DOT, the North Dakota Highway Patrol and the National Weather Service held an event in Bismarck as part of “Winter Weather Awareness Day.”
