In the first half, the Vikings came out dictating the pace of play. The Vikings would keep the Cougars off their game the entire first half. They took out their frustrations from back to back weekend losses out on the Cougars. Chris Thompson and Eddie Oyet would add some emphatic dunks in the second half to put an exclamation point on the statement win on the evening to send the Valley City faithful home happy.
