BUXTON, N.D. (NDHP) – A UND student pilot is dead following a plane crash in a field near Buxton, North Dakota around 8:30pm on Monday, October 18th.

The Highway Patrol said the pilot suffered fatal injuries during the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol, NTSB, FAA with the assistance of the Traill County Sheriff’s Office.
