Gwinner, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – With the Lisbon Broncos football team winning big in Gwinner Friday afternoon they now have secured a place in the post season.  Before todays game both Lisbon and Sargent County were tied for the 4th and final playoff spot with 2 weeks to go.  Throw in the fact that the Broncos had lost 2 games in a row and struggling to score touchdowns, the pressure was on.

Fortunately the early season Broncos showed up and took control of the game early.  Lisbon scored touchdowns on their first three drives.  They also converted all three 2 pt. attempts to take a 24 to 0 lead with 8:26 to go in the 2nd quarter.  The Broncos were led offensively again by qb/rb #5 Boedeon Greenley.  Greenley rushed for 135 yards and scored 3 rushing td’s.

The Broncos defense also had a strong game forcing 2 turnovers, limiting the bulldogs to one TD, and sacking the Bulldogs QB 4 times.
