JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Jamestown woman is starting up a new coaching service for those struggling with addiction of any kind.

Victoria Gore is a licensed addiction counselor and says in her work, she’s works a lot with families who have struggled to support their loved ones.

Gore stated that starting her own service was a way she could better support families who are struggling with someone who has an addiction.

She also specializes in recovery coaching, where she gives support to those struggling with their addiction or are in their recovery.

For her, the service means a lot as she has been in her own recovery for the past 11 years.

Gore’s program uses coaching and education with a focus on holistic types of service or recommendations. She says her program is based on holistic healing methods such as Reiki.

Gore says she works with her coach clients weekly through video conference or in-person when her office is ready in November.

A native to Michigan, Gore says she has seen a need for this sort of service, not only for Jamestown, but also North Dakota and even further.
