NSAA Football Defensive Player of the Week
Riley Gerhardt – Valley City State (N.D.) – 6’2″ – 210 lbs., Freshman – linebacker – Valley City, N.D. – Gerhardt led No. 20-ranked Valley City State’s (N.D.) defense with a team-high eight tackles (5 solo, 3 assist) in 28-14 North Star conference road win at Iowa Wesleyan.  He also had a quarterback sack of 15 yards loss.  Gerhardt registered two tackles-for-loss of 16 yards loss and forced a fumble.

NSAA Football Special Teams Player of the Week
Nico Magana – Valley City State (N.D.) – 5’7″ – 255 lbs. – Freshman – kicker – Chula Vista, Calif. – Magana was perfect 4-for-4 on PAT extra-point kicks in No. 20-ranked Valley City State (N.D.) 28-14 NSAA road victory at Iowa Wesleyan.  He also recorded five kick-offs of 250 yards (50.0 yards per kick-off).
