Casselton, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The (5 -1) Central Cass Squirrels football team rebounded well Friday night with a big 41 to 8 win against (4 – 2) Lisbon.  The previous game for the Squirrels was a disappointing 37 tp 0 loss to Kindred.  One of the biggest reasons for the Squirrels win was the defense.  Its not very often you see the Lisbon Broncos offense shutdown.  The Broncos lone 8 points came from their special teams unit who blocked a punt.  With the ball lying free, it was scooped up by #55 Gabe Lyons for a 20 yard TD return.

Next up:  The Broncos will host Oakes this coming Friday night at 7 pm.  Both teams are part of a four way tie for 2nd place at 3 – 1 in the 11B South East division.
