N.D. (NewsDakota.com) After seven years, a non-profit farming organization has hit a milestone. Farm Rescue helped its 200th family this week in Wyndmere.

After 37-years of farming Dan Dotzenrod could only watch his harvest this year. Dotzenrod broke his neck in June after falling from his semi. Though the injury was unfortunate, Dotzenrod says he was lucky he wasn’t paralyzed and was glad there was help on the horizon.

Farm Rescue was founded 7 years ago. It helps families in the Dakota’s, Minnesota, Montana and Iowa who suffered an injury, illness or natural disaster. Founder Bill Gross says he’s looking to expand into other state.
