(NewsDakota.com) The Oakes High School Volleyball team kicks off the two day variety athetlics part of Homecoming Week Thursday evening as they play host to Sargent Central.

Oakes still has an unblemished record in District 1 play, defeating Wyndmere-Lidgerwood in a sweep in their last match; a week ago tonight. The Cadets will present the Tornadoes with their toughest test; pressures of Homecoming notwithstanding; as they are in the top four of the District.
