JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department is warning residents of a high risk registered sex offender that is now residing within the city of Jamestown.

32 year-old Robert Michael Williams currently lives at 1009 12th Avenue SE #24 at the Norway Inn. He is a white male, 6’03”, 290 pounds, with green eyes and red hair. He drives a white 2008 Chevy Blazer. He has been assigned a high risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee.

Williamson was charged with Gross Sexual Imposition in 2018 in Burleigh County. He was also charged with Luring by Computer when he met a 16 year-old female at a hotel and had sexual contact with her.

He is currently on GPS monitoring.

Williamson is not currently wanted at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court. This notification is meant for public safety only and should not increase fear in the community. Any attempts to harass, intimidate or threaten an offender will be turned over for prosecution.
