JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Community artwork of all kinds will be in the next Jamestown Fine Arts Association (JFAA) Art Show beginning August 26th and continuing though October 9th.
The 57th Annual JFAA Art Show has been accepting registrations for the exhibit since July. Executive Director Mindi Schmitz says while registrations started slow, they’ve ended up with a good amount of works to show.
All entry fees for each art piece go on to support small cash awards. Bank Forward has agreed to setup up and assist with covering costs.
“[It] is a wonderful gesture and greatly appreciated,” the Arts Center stated.
The exhibit will be open for public viewing starting on August 26 starting at 5:30 pm. Awards will be announced on that date.
Schmitz says they’ve also been working to square away their Arts After School program now that the school year is underway.
She added the slots fill quickly each year.
