(NewsDakota.com) Carrington played Turtle Mountain Central High School (Belcourt) for their homecoming game on Friday night (Sept. 21st), beating them 47-0. Carrington improves to 3-1-1, TMCHS drops to 0-5.
It was all Carrington the entire game, Casey Murphy scored 4 touchdowns on the night, the first one came in the first quarter, Murphy took it in from 15 yards out making it 7-0. Then a short time later, Murphy scored again from four yards out. Seth Aburrea scored in the first quarter on a 17 yard run, the two point conversion was no good making it 20-0 at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter, Murphy scored twice, on a 29 yard run and a 5 yard run, making it 34-0 at the half.
Then in the third quarter, Walker Carr took it in from eight yards out. In the fourth, Jake Copenhaver recovered a fumble and took it in from 39 yards out, making it 47-0 the final.
