SIOUX CITY, Iowa (Jimmiepride.com) — The University of Jamestown women’s soccer team was picked to finish third in the GPAC as the conference’s preseason poll was released Wednesday.
UJ received 120 points and three first-place votes, behind second-place Concordia (Neb.) with 129 points and two first-place votes; and first-place Briar Cliff (Iowa), with 136 points and eight first-place votes.
Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own team in the poll.
The Jimmies open the regular season on August 21 at home against Graceland University.
