JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Police, sheriff’s deputies, EMTs, firefighters, Game & Fish Department personnel, Highway Patrol Troopers and everything in between welcomed the public to McElroy Park Tuesday night for National Night Out.
National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Itt provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. It’s typically held on the first Tuesday of August nationwide.
Stutsman County Sheriff Chad Kaiser said it was great to have the public out and have them see emergency personnel in a positive way.
Jamestown Area Ambulance Operations Manager Andrew Berkey said they were happy to be part of the nationwide event and were using it as a way to share information about their service and what they do.
Families and their kids also enjoyed free food, games, toys, candy, inflatables, and the popular foam pit from the Jamestown Rural Fire Department.
