CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–The Hi-Liner football team takes their 2-1 record on the road tonight to face the Kindred Vikings.

Valley City is 1-1 in Region I (eastern division) play after a 14-7 win at Griggs-Barnes County last week.  They opened their region season with a six-point loss to Wahpeton.

Kindred dropped a rough 43-6 decision to Fargo Shanley, the top-ranked “AA” team in the state, last week.  Their star option quarterback, Eric Bachmeier, is not listed in the starting lineup tonight.

Gametime is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.  Pregame coverage will begin at 6:05 p.m. on Dakota Country KOVC.
