CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Members of the public are being asked to participate in one of several planned input meetings for a proposed project on Highway 52 from Carrington to Minot.
The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) project will include a proposed passing lane and turn lane improvements on the 120 mile stretch of state Highway.
Jen Turnbow is an Associate Director and project manager with Ulteig Engineers, Inc.
Ulteig was hired as the consultant for the project and Turnbow says they’re doing field and survey work for the roadway at this time. She added that they’re open to suggestions and input from the public.
There are four meetings scheduled in four different locations including Carrington, Velva, Minot, and Harvey. Each presentation will be the same pending questions asked of engineers for the project.
Those who cannot attend a meeting are encouraged to submit written statements or comments by August 20th to Jen Turnbow, project manager with Ulteig Engineers at 419 Riverwood Drive Suite 201, Bismarck, ND 58504 or email jennifer.turnbow@ulteig.com with “Public Input Meeting” in the e-mail subject heading.
