JAMESTOWN, ND. (JamestownSpeedway.com) – The Jamestown Speedway was back in action on Saturday, July 17th for the INEX Legends Special ($500 to WIN), Race of Champions Qualifier for the WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds and WISSOTA Street Stocks, and Kids Night! We have to send out a huge thank you to First Community Credit Union and Dakota Central for sponsoring the racing action and providing a bunch of giveaways and prizes to our junior fans. The weather was warm, but the track prep crew kept up with the racing surface throughout the night and it provided for lots of great racing. Overall, we had 104 cars in the pits to do battle on Sunday Night.

Bombers/Pure Stocks – 17 Cars:
– Winner: Dylan Steele, Runner-Up: Karlie Hoerner
– Hard Charger: Dylan Steele +6 (7th to 1st)

INEX Legends – 27 Cars:
– Winner: Tye Wilke, Runner-Up: Donavin Wiest
– Hard Charger: Ryan Erdahl +9 (19th to 10th)

Wissota Midwest Modifieds – 24 Cars:
– Winner: Lucas Rodin, Runner-Up: Brennon Weight
– Lucas Rodin will represent Jamestown in the Race of Champions at the WISSOTA 100 in September.
– Hard Charger: Jim Morlock +7 (18th to 11th)

Wissota Street Stocks – 15 Cars:
– Winner: Kyle Anderson, Runner-Up: Bob Banish Jr.
– Kyle Anderson will represent Jamestown in the Race of Champions at the WISSOTA 100 in September.
– Hard Charger: Tyler Schrenk +5 (12th to 7th)

IMCA Modifieds – 14 Cars:
– Winner: Eric Edwards, Runner-Up: Marlyn Seidler
– Hard Charger: Marlyn Seidler +7 (9th to 2nd)

Jr./Sr. Slingshots – 7 Cars:
– Winner: Gavin Edinger, Runner-Up: Qwint Irish

Once again, thank you to all of the drivers, fans, sponsors, and track personnel that came out to the show on Saturday night. We really appreciate everyone’s support at the Jamestown Speedway and we have to thank everyone for coming out. We hope all of the drivers had a great time and hope to see everyone back throughout the season.

Please join us next week for some more high-flying, action-packed racing on Jamestown’s 1/4 mile high-bank oval. Next week Saturday, July 24th is the NOSA 410 Sprint Car Special presented by Eddy Funeral Home (Eddy’s) at the Jamestown Speedway. The Bombers, INEX Legends, Wissota Street Stocks, NOSA Sprints, and Slingshots will be running on Saturday Night as the Wissota Midwest Modifieds and IMCA Modifieds have the night off. The grandstand gates open at 5:30 pm and racing action begins at 7:00 pm. Hope to see everyone next week Saturday at the Jamestown Speedway!
