(NAFB) – Ethanol Industry groups are vowing to fight last week’s D.C. federal appeals court ruling striking down summertime E15 gas sales.

Growth Energy’s Emily Skor says the ethanol industry and corn producers have put too much on the line to walk away now from the fight with Big Oil over summertime sales of E15 approved in the last administration.

And Renewable Fuels Association head Geoff Cooper.

Cooper says the Biden EPA should continue defending E15 in court, claiming it’s even less polluting than E10 and underwent years of vehicle testing.

Cooper also says his industry is not about to walk away from E15 and will look at every tool available to protect the summertime use rule and keep the E15 market expanding.
