JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The 123rd Annual Stutsman County Fair begins June 30th, but Stutsman County 4-Hers have been working towards this time all year.

Stutsman County 4-H Program Coordinator Robin Barnes says static exhibits will be judged starting today with animal registration and judging set to begin next week.

Barnes says 4-H in Stutsman County has been growing with many participating in the upcoming fair.

Over 160 4-Hers will be entering something into the fair this year. They’ll be judged on their static exhibits, poultry, rabbits, horses, cows, pigs, sheep, and even llamas and alpacas.

Barnes says the best way to show support to the 4-Hers and their hard work is to join in the showmanship events that happen all fair long.

The week wraps up with the 6th annual Weiner dog races July 3rd at 1:30 PM in the Livestock arena.

After the dog races, Barnes says they’ll hold their parade of champions that’s open to the public.
