JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – For 19 years, volunteers have put on the drag races at the Jamestown Regional Airport.
Mike Trautman says they’ve had a great relationship with the airport for the yearly event.
Trautman says the two-day event will feature a variety of different vehicles from the 1,000 HP to even ATV’s and snowmobiles.
He added that in partner with Jamestown Tourism, the event has grown to be one of the biggest economic boosts to the community.
Racers and fans can enjoy time trials at 9 AM with eliminations at 1 PM. Concessions will be on site. Bleacher seating is available or you can bring your chair and choose a spot under a big tent for shade.
Tickets are $10 for adults and children under 6 get in free. The entrance to the event will be on the east side of the Jamestown Regional Airport.
