MEDORA, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Miss Rodeo North Dakota Pageant was held Saturday, June 19th in Medora on the Tjaden Terrance overlooking the Medora Musical Burning Hills Amphitheater.
Elise Burwell of Minnewaukan, ND was selected as Miss Rodeo North Dakota Lady in Waiting during the pageant. The 24-year-old works for the North Central Soil Conservation District. She talked about how she set a goal for herself at an early age.
Miss Rodeo National Director Codi Miller encouraged others to join their organization to help promote our western heritage, while creating cowgirls with character. Miller talked about a Scholarship program to help young women achieve their personal and professional goals.
