VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Memorial Day is for honoring and mourning the military personnel who paid the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.
A number of Veteran Organizations in the area conducted Military Honors on Memorial Day in remembrance of those who have died for their country.
After rendering Military Honors the Valley City High/Junior School Band performed patriot music for the crowd along the Sheyenne River on the west side of the Eagles Club. Then the Valley Troubadours performed for the audience inside the Eagles Club while lunch was served.
