JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – On Tuesday, May 25th, the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office seized a large amount of suspected fentanyl pills and more in a routine traffic stop.
Lt. Jonathan Hirchert reports approximately 200 suspected fentanyl pills, 20 grams of methamphetamine, $1,400 in US Currency and a loaded firearm were discovered during the stop.
“These narcotics have an estimated street value of approximately $8,000,” he reports.
The occupant of the vehicle, Colton Dade, was arrested and charged with possession with Intent to deliver Fentanyl, possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and carrying a concealed weapon. His bond was set at $50,000.
The Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Stutsman County Narcotics Task Force and the Jamestown Police Department.
“Law enforcement would like to remind the community of the dangers of these pills,” Lt. Hirchert added. “The pills are designed to represent 30 milligram Oxycodone but contain an unknown amount of fentanyl.”
