CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–After a big Eastern Dakota Conference (EDC) win over Wahpeton, and a non-league win over Dickinson, the Hi-Liner tennis team hits the road today to face Fargo North.

The Spartans are tied for the league lead, now 5-0 this season, tied with traditional power Grand Forks Red River for the EDC’s top position.

Valley City is a half-game behind Fargo South for the seventh position in the EDC, the last position to escape the play-in round at the end of the year.

Match time is set for 4:00 p.m. from North High School.  The match begins a busy weekend for the Hi-Liners, as they host Mandan on Friday, then play in a tournament hosted by West Fargo Saturday.
