SIOUX CITY, Iowa (jimmiepride.com)– Kalli Hegerle (JR/West Fargo, N.D.) and Anna Holen (JR/LaMoure, N.D.) were named to the NAIA Championship All-Tournament team, which was announced following the conclusion of Saturday’s national championship match.
In five matches at the national tournament, Hegerle finished with 62 kills against only nine errors while hitting .356. She had a career-high 23 kills in a five-set win over Viterbo (Wis.), and finished with double-digit kills in the next three matches.
Holen had 53 kills in five matches during the national tournament while hitting .240. She also racked up 84 digs, averaging 4.7 digs per set. Holen had at least 10 digs in all five matches, including 22 in the semifinal matchup against Midland (Neb.)
Both Hegerle and Holen were named to the GPAC’s all-conference first team. Holen led the Jimmies in 2020-21 with 322 kills while Hegerle was second with 301. Hegerle tied for the team lead in hitting percentage at .305.
