JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Frontier Village is looking for volunteers to help cleanup and prepare for the upcoming summer.
Jamestown Tourism Visitor Experience Manager Alison Limke says they’re asking for service clubs and volunteers to assist them before their opening day.
Limke says they have all materials ready and a majority of the work will be cleaning. This includes washing windows, sweeping debris and cobwebs, wiping cases clean, and picking up litter and trash outdoors.
Limke added they would like to ensure they have enough materials and things to do for volunteers, so they’re asking to reach out before the event and let them know you’re coming.
Limke says if you don’t wish to help with cleaning, there are some other minor maintenance and landscaping things that need to be done.
Limke says volunteers are only asked to bring work clothes and closed toed shoes for the day. Roughly 10 of the buildings still need volunteer work done.
