JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Representing the state of North Dakota, the Jamestown High School LifeSmarts Team quickly showed they were there to win it all.
And they did just that.
On Monday, April 19th, Jarron Larson, Chris Sayler, Jessie Paulson, and Garret Wright won the 2020 LifeSmarts Championship. Both the 2020 and 2021 National LifeSmarts Championships were held virtually to accomodate for the pandemic.
“The farthest North Dakota has ever made it was Jamestown High school in 2010 with a second place finish,” Chris Sayler stated.
“This championship was our last competition as we are all graduated after this year, but we will be recruiting new students to hopefully carry on the legacy,” he added.
The team members will all receive a $1500 post secondary scholarships and $100 Amazon gift cards.
