GRAND FORKS, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The 2021 Shrine Football game is two months away. Saturday the rosters were announce for the 11-Man and 9-man games.

Valley City placed two players on the 11-East roster. Carson McGough and Landon Hansen. Also from the area Oakes’ Ashton Biesterfeld, Garrett Meehl and Jacob Hankel. From Class AA East Region, Central Cass had Adam Roden and Logan Prochnow. Kindred’s Max Vikander. Also from Region 1 Class A, Jordan Sours from Lisbon.

Jamestown placed three players on the West squad. Keith Levin, Matt Anderson and Ty Monson.

Area players on the 9-Man East team are Ty Combs from Enderlin/Maple Valley. Hunter Gronneberg from Griggs/Midkota. Brett Wendel and Zach Lahlum from LaMoure-Litchville-Marion. Other Region 1 players, Preston Bohnenstingl from Wyndmere-Lidgerwood; Derick Carl and Brandon Gruenwald of Tri State; William Erickson of Finley-Sharon/Hope-Page; Logan Krueger and Sawyer Satrom of Mayville-Portland-C-G.

This year’s game will be played at West Fargo High School on Saturday, June 19th.
