CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Barnes County Municipal Airport is open again following the tragic plane crash that killed World Renowned pilot Bob Odegaard of Kindred.

Dennis Helland, chairman of the Barnes County Municipal Airport Authority, says all Airshow activities were canceled after the crash. He says following the F.A.A. investigation at the crash site, the airport reopened Saturday.

Helland says anyone with photos of the plane in flight, on the ground or during the crash is asked to submit them to Airport officials or the Barnes County Sheriff’s office.

66-year-old Bob Odegaard died after his 1945 Super Corsair crashed Friday night.  Odegaard was practicing his routine for the Wings & Wheels Airshow.

A Prayer Service for Odegaard will be held Tuesday at 7pm with visitation from 5pm to 7pm at St. Maurice Catholic Church in Kindred. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at the church at 2pm.
