(NewsDakota.com) They hadn’t won a game in 13 weeks of North Dakota Class AAA football.
They hadn’t won a game on the road in almost three years, and hadn’t won a game in their conference in five years.
None of that matters anymore. It’s all in the past, and you can’t call them losers anymore.
Jamestown High School football won on Friday night 13-6 in Mandan against the Braves.
The Blue Jays (1-2 1-0 WDA) scored twice in the first half, the first on a 60 yard touchdown pass from Matt Grounds to Sean Lindberg in the first quarter, and a three yard touchdown run by Anthony Cook. Mandan scored in the middle of the second with a four yard run, and neither team was able to add another point through the rest of the game
Next up for the Jays is a home contest versus Dickinson next Friday night.
