JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Over the last two weeks, grassland fires have kept firefighters busy in rural Jamestown.

Jamestown Fire Chief Jim Reuther says conditions continue to be dry and residents in city limits should be mindful of burning in open fire pits as well.

Chief Reuther added that the city also falls within the Stutsman County ordinance and residents need to abide by that as well.
