JAMESTOWN, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – With last Sunday being the first day of Spring, golf courses around North Dakota have begun to open up for the season.
JAMESTOWN: Hillcrest Municipal Golf Course opens its course up for the first time today, March 29th. Walkups will not be allowed due to new procedures related to COVID-19, but you can call 252-4320 or set up a tee time online here. Rental clubs are available and customers are encouraged to bring their own hand sanitizers and disinfectants.
The Jamestown Country Club is open is also open for the spring season. The course is an 18-hole par 72 championship layout that is both challenging but relaxing at the same time. The full list of open times for the pro shop and kitchen at the Jamestown Country Club is available HERE.
VALLEY CITY: The Valley City Town and Country Club, a nine-hole course with a full-service bar and restaurant is also open now. The Country Club calls itself “One of the best kept secrets in North Dakota” and has the Trestles Bar & Grill as well. Valley City Town and Country Club is located at 500 12th Ave NE in Valley City.
Bjornson Park in Valley City is yet to open for the season, but the nine-hole course is set along the Sheyenne River. The course is located off of I-94 Exit 292 S on West Frontage road, and you can stay up to date with what’s happening at Bjornson HERE.
