Dickinson, ND (NewsDakota.com) – The Dickinson Police Department announced Tuesday that a second arrest has been made in the fatal shooting of a juvenile that happened on March 13th.

Detectives arrested 18-year-old Jesus Torres of Dickinson for Tampering with Physical Evidence, which is a Class C felony. The arrest was made after interviews with several individuals, including Torres. He allegedly assisted in discarding the firearm used in the shooting. Detectives subsequently recovered the firearm yesterday afternoon and placed Torres under arrest.
Torres was transported to the Southwest Multi-County Correctional Center where he awaits a bond hearing scheduled for Wednesday.
The 16-year-old arrested for Negligent Homicide regarding this case remains in custody at the Youth Correctional Center in Mandan. The detention hearing for his case has been rescheduled to tomorrow afternoon.
