JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Middle School Principal Ryan Harty was selected as the Region 5 Secondary School Principal of the Year by the NDASSP.

The NDASSP is divided into 6 regions in the state, with each region under the direction of a region director. These directors selected that region’s Principal of the Year.

All principals from their respective regions are filling out applications for the honor of being the 2021 North Dakota State Principal of the Year

The North Dakota POY will be selected in March and announced in the beginning of April 2021.

If selected, Harty would represent North Dakota at the 2021 NASSP National Conference and be in the running for the 2022 National NASSP Principal of the Year.
