VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Wrestler of the Week this week is Ethan Miller.

Ethan is a freshman and is the Hi-Liners starting wrestler at 126lbs and enters the state tournament as the #1 seed from the East.

He is the son of Tim and Alyssa and has one older sister, Taylor.

Ethan had a great week of wrestling, and a grueling season vs many ranked wrestlers. He finished the
season 18-5 and has wrestled 12 matches vs opponents ranked in the top 3 in their region, as well as 2
matches vs a state qualifier from Thief River Falls, Minnesota. In his final match of the season, Ethan
secured the #1 seed in the EDC by beating Matthew Duchscherer of Carrington who is ranked #2 in
Class B at 126.
Ethan is an exceptional student athlete for the Hi-Liners. He is on the B-Honor Roll and has been a
member of ND Academic All-State since 7th grade. In his free time, Ethan likes lifting weights, and ice fishing and playing video games with friends. His favorite class is math, his favorite foods are
cheeseburgers and his favorite video game is Call of Duty.

Ethan’s most memorable wrestling moment was going to Disney Duals in Florida in the summer of 2019.
