(NewsDakota.com) – A Jamestown man convicted of murder will learn his sentence Nov. 14 in Southeast District Court.

A jury found 35-year-old Leron Lee Howard guilty of murder and criminal conspiracy on Aug. 23 in the April 2011 death of 18-year-old Abdi Ali Ahmed.

Howard’s sentencing hearing has been scheduled for 10 a.m. on Nov. 14. A presentence investigation will occur prior. Both charges are Class AA felonies. Howard faces up to life in prison without parole.

Co-defendant Janelle Cave was convicted of manslaughter and criminal conspiracy in February. She was sentenced to 11 years in prison and is currently appealing her conviction.
