JAMESTOWN, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown men’s basketball team cracked the top 25 this week, coming in at #21 in the latest NAIA poll.

The Jimmies are currently riding a six-game winning streak following their victory on Saturday over Midland 100-74. Jamestown had been receiving votes in the last two NAIA polls.

Jamestown plays their final two games of the season on the road, including tonight as they take on Northwestern. The Red Raiders have been hot as of late, winning eight straight and 10 of 11. There is currently one game separating Jamestown (18-5, 14-4) and Northwestern (18-5, 13-5) for second in the GPAC.

In order for Jamestown to win the GPAC regular-season title, they will need to win their final two games of the year, and have Northwestern beat Morningside to wrap up the regular season on February 20th.

The Jimmies women’s team will kick off the doubleheader in Orange City, Iowa starting at 6 p.m. tonight. You can watch both games by clicking HERE.
