CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Healthcare partners in Foster County continue to provide updates on COVID-19 vaccine distribution in the area.

Foster County Public Health Administrator Lisa Hilbert says Foster County continues to provide Vaccine doses to the public, having administer more than 700 first doses in the area.

Matt Paulson of Carrington Drug says they also continue to administer the vaccine, asking members of the public that are interested in receiving the vaccine to contact a local entity to be put on the list.

These partners include:

Carrington Drug – 701-652-2521
Foster County Public Health – 701-652-3087
Central Pharmacy – 701-652-2651
CHI St. Alexius Carrington – 701-652-2515

Hilbert added that they are doing what they can to reduce barriers to those wanting access to the vaccine, announcing a team-up with South Central Transportation.

You can call Ann at the Senior Center at 701-652-3257. Hilbert says if there is a need for transportation at outlying towns in Foster County, they can also arrange dates for transportation.

Hilbert added that they would also accept donations to help assist with costs of transportation to the vaccination sites in Foster County. She says support from the community and their partnership with other entities has been helpful.

Paulson added a reminder that there may be weeks when providers won’t receive vaccine allocations based on supplies received by the North Dakota Department of Health.
