JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – One of the largest charity events in the area will make a return this spring in Jamestown.
The 42nd Annual Runnin O’ The Green has been tentatively scheduled for April 17th, 2021. This marks the return of the event after its cancellation in 2020 due to COVID-19.
After its cancellation, the committee put a hold on announcing the event in November 2020, making an official announcement of its return this week.
“Larry ‘Knobby’ Knoblich hopes you all understand that the pandemic is still here and with hopes of scheduling at a later date won’t jeopardize any decision making to postpone or cancel as we did in 2020,” the committee stated. “The health & safety for all is first priority.”
The longtime event has raised thousands of dollars for Elks Camp Grassick and local cancer patients in the last 41 years.
The committee encourages participants to follow their Facebook page for further updates on registration, guidelines, and more. You can like their page here.
