FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – COUNTRY Financial Representative Andy Dunphy is pleased to announce the Fargo Public Schools and the Fargo Police Department’s (FPD) Badges of Unity Fund as recipients of a COUNTRY Financial Operation Helping Heroes donation.
Fargo Public Schools received $4,800 for art and classroom supplies, and the FPD received $2,000 to provide activities for at-risk youth in the community.
“Fargo Public Schools and the Fargo Police Department do so much to help those in our community, and I wanted to do something to help their efforts,” said Dunphy. “It is an honor to have the opportunity to further their efforts through this program.”
COUNTRY Financial donated $3 million through its Operation Helping Heroes program in 2020 to organizations and programs that support first responders, military organizations and healthcare workers, supporting the company’s vision to “enrich lives in the communities we serve.”
The Operation Helping Heroes program was created in 2015 to support non-profit events and programs that benefit active duty service members, veterans and their families. In 2019, COUNTRY Financial expanded the program and donated $700,000 to approximately 500 first responder and military organizations.
