JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – During the week of March 8th, the Jamestown Regional Entrepreneur Center will be hosting a virtual Women’s Business Conference week designed to engage women in business to discuss important topics.
One of the many speakers will be Chris Armbrust, founder of the Dakota Fiber Mill, the only full service fiber processing mill in the state.
Recently, Armbrust teamed up with Teresa Perleberg to bring their businesses together and form Shepherd Industries, LLC. Now, Armbrust and Perleberg have purchased the Nome School in Barnes County for their new venture.
The two plan to renovate the building to house their businesses with plans of a retail store, classrooms, fiber animals on site, Bed & Breakfast rooms, in-house chef and Event Center.
Armbrust says it’s been challenging for her and Perleberg to get where they’re at.
With her knowledge and information she’s learned, Armbrust will be speaking during the Women’s Business Conference on March 11th.
She says one of the biggest items a future entrepreneur may have to focus on immediately is money.
